Historical

Founded in 1755 by the Delhumeau family, Domaine de Brizé has built up a fine reputation over time thanks to the work of successive generations . It is with great emotion that our family takes up the torch of this beautiful family history and we thank Line and Luc Delhumeau for their trust and kindness in taking over this magnificent estate with extraordinary potential.

The Region

Located in the heart of Anjou in the commune of Martigné-Briand, Château de Brizé offers an authentic setting in a very touristy and dynamic region. The region is renowned for its rolling landscapes, majestic castles, winding rivers, and verdant vineyards.

Our commitment

The vineyard is managed using responsible viticulture methods based on the "Terra Vitis" approach, created in 1998, which aims to combine respect for the environment, preservation of biodiversity, and the quality of the wines produced. Every day, our team is committed to implementing environmentally friendly practices throughout the production process. This includes the responsible management of phytosanitary treatments and the use of alternative methods for combating diseases and pests.

The operation is also certified High Environmental Value Level 3 - High Environmental Value Operation according to articles D617-4 and D617-7 to D617-11 of the rural and maritime fishing code.

Our goal for the coming years is to cultivate the entire estate organically in order to be in line with our values and love of nature and our land. We will apply for the conversion of the entire estate to organic farming in July 2024.
